Empoli midfielder Baldanzi ready 'for big club'

Empoli midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi admits he soon expects to leave for a bigger stage.

The Italy U21 starlet is regarded among the country's best young players.

A target for Juventus and AC Milan, Baldanzi said: "There have been many players at Empoli who were fortunate enough to go to big clubs.

"I am very happy to have stayed here this season, but obviously I hope to be the next to leave Empoli for a big club.

Personally, so far I have not received any calls."
