The No. 6 seed South Carolina Gamecocks were not having a great first half in their opening round NCAA tournament game against the Oregon Ducks on Thursday.
But senior guard Ta'Lon Cooper did his best to salvage some of it by hitting an incredible half-court buzzer-beating just before halftime.

That is not only from the other side of the half-court strip, that is near the end of the mid-court logo and at least a 65-foot shot.
Oregon had a 34-26 lead up until that point and seemed to be in solid control of the game. But that shot from Cooper helped bring the Gamecocks back into it and made for one of the best highlights of the early stages of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Cooper averaged 1.6 three-point shots per game while also averaging 9.7 points per game during the regular season.
