What's Up YB Fans! We had our first snow fall today here in KC which left me in chill mode. I am chillin' at da crib with my mini pins catching up on some computer business and wanted to send a shout out to all of you. And until the next time I check you out on YB you all be safe, drive slow and holla!
I had the opportunity to work with the NFL's Play 60 Campaign in late October. Play 60 promotes exercise and the importance of staying fit. Their main message is to exercise for at least 60 minutes every day by working out, playing outside, jumping rope, etc. Through this promotion, I met a young man named Tommy and taught a gym class with him at his school. It was a fun day and we sure did work up a sweat. Take a look at the video. Enjoy and remember to get out there and Play 60!!!!
What's Up Yardbarkers? We are off to Oakland but I wanted to touch base with you all. I hope you and your family had a very Happy Thanksgiving! I had a nice day and ate way too much turkey! Let's GEAUX CHIEFS!!!
While the team and I were in San Diego preparing to play the Chargers I took some time out of the weekend to visit a Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Center called, Project Walk with my friend, Frankie. Frankie is 21 and was paralyzed in a dirt bike accident on October 28th, 2007 and has recently moved to San Diego to rehab at Project Walk on a regular basis. Frankie hasn't stopped believing and is pushing himself each and everyday to regain feeling and walk again. He has become a hero of mine and I am going to be there by his side each step of the way believing with him and pushing him. Take a look at the video we shot while we were at Project Walk. Show Frankie some love and some encouragement! All it takes is a little believing a lot of prayers and some faith and all of our dreams can become reality....
